 Stelios Kandias of Ridge, NY is the winner of Suffolk OTB’s June 2007 Handicapping Challenge.
Kandias is no stranger to handicapping contests at Suffolk OTB – having been the top handicapper in our March 2006 contest. He is the first-ever repeat winner of contests at Suffolk OTB.
Kandias won $7,900 for his first place finish in the contest, and an all-expense paid entry into the Coast Casinos’ $1 Million Horse Player World Series, which will be held at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in January 2008.
Contestants made $2 Win/Place bets on 12 races – six each at Belmont and Churchill – on Saturday, June 16, 2007.
Stelios has been actively handicapping thoroughbred racing for the past 13 years, specializing in NYRA meets and the major Florida thoroughbred tracks. |
