Suffolk OTB Teams Up With The Suffolk County Department of Health To Provide Flu Shots

Suffolk Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation in conjunction with the Suffolk County Department of Health Services recently offered free or low cost flu shots and pneumococcal vaccine to more than 70 patrons and employees at the Sunrise Branch in Bay Shore.

“With the realization that influenza can have serious effects on people, Suffolk OTB wanted to assist in helping to prevent this illness by offering our Bay Shore branch as an influenza immunization site,” explained Suffolk Regional OTB President & CEO Jeffrey A. Casale.

Suffolk Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation is a public benefit corporation that prides itself on their community-friendly branches and ongoing support to various not-for-profit organizations serving the residents of Suffolk County. Suffolk County has received nearly $200 million from Suffolk OTB revenues since its creation in 1975. Suffolk OTB currently operates 14 branches, and offers Qwik Bet wagering at four locations.
