Suffolk OTB Helps The Gerald J. Ryan Outreach Center
The Suffolk OTB Annual Employee Charity Golf Outing was held on October 23rd at Bethpage State Park followed by dinner at the Carlyle on the Green restaurant. This year the Gerald J. Ryan Outreach Center was selected as one of two beneficiaries of the fundraiser. Based in Wyandanch, the outreach center provides for families in need through their food pantry, job counseling, after school programs and housing assistance among their many services. Providing their community with 450 food baskets at Thanksgiving and 400 at Christmas, OTB’s check in the amount of $6,266.00 came at just the right time as support for the Center.
